How do I know if a GST invoice is fake?
Three quick tests: the supplier GSTIN must pass the check digit and be active with GSTN, the name on the bill should match the registration, and the tax must equal the taxable value times a valid GST rate. This tool runs all three.
Does a correct invoice guarantee my ITC?
No. Credit also needs the supplier to file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B so the invoice appears in your GSTR-2B. Use the Vendor ITC Check to watch your suppliers' filing.
Is my invoice uploaded?
No. The text is read in your browser. Only the GSTIN is sent to us to look up its registration.
